About The Learning Concept
The Learning Concept develops innovative, interactive CD-ROMs that teach children and their parents about good nutrition and health. The Learning Concept has many years of experience in authoring and creating computer-based training tools for telephone operators, bank-tellers, and others. They have recently begun creating interactive CD-ROMs for children that fill in a gap in elementary school's nutrition and health curriculum.
Our Approach to Product Development
 The Learning Concept's primary products are high-value, low cost, self-directed, educational CD's targeted at elementary and pre-schools. Their unique self-directed interactive approach is enhanced by their "fun factor". These learning tools introduce basic nutrition or health concepts and then reinforce those concepts through interactive games, puzzles, quizzes and activities.
The Learning Concept's interactive products are designed to be used by individual students and allow teachers to cover concepts that they do not have classroom time to teach. By allowing each student access to computers in the classroom, media center, or even by sending a child home with a CD, these important nutrition and health concepts can be taught while taking up little teacher time. Each CD-ROM includes an adult section that helps educate parents about essential nutrition and health concepts so that they can reinforce these important ideas in their homes.
